Sunday worship at 9:15a.m.

Is a choir, organ, traditional liturgies, hymns and choruses your worship preference? Do you enjoy the deep-rooted sense of doing things in time-honored ways? You will find yourself at home in our 9:15am Traditional Worship experience in the Sanctuary.

You will get caught up in the presence of God and community in the relaxed atmosphere. Rest assured, this is not a traditional "sit there and be quiet" kind of service... rather an opportunity to seek, journey, and worship while exploring ancient practices.

Music is an imporantant part of how we worship at GUM. We have both occasional and regular opportunities to get involved.

Traditional Music at GUM Church

Georgetown Choir

The choir is a vital part of worship and we are looking for more voices to join us in our unique way of sharing God’s message.

The choir is made up of a variety of ages, musical ability and interests.   We sing a wide range of music styles, the goal being to keep things interesting and challenging, also meaningful, and of course, fun.

Being a part of choir, having the opportunity to lead worship, and knowing that you have touched people through music is such a joy... but another part of choir is that it allows all of us to be a part of a small group here at GUM.  This is our place to share our lives with each other, support and be supportive, laugh together, and feel God’s presence in our midst.  As a result, we take that closeness and sense of purpose and return it to our congregation.
